Announcing Sport for Jove’s 2027 Education Season!

In a world of clicks, likes and AI-generated content, it's never been harder to get students to engage with classic texts. But 2027 presents a wonderful opportunity to forge a new path, new understanding, and new inspirations across a whole new set of curriculum requirements.

In 2027, we’re offering a massive four education productions, including a bespoke production of Hamlet + Dickinson, interweaving one of Shakespeare’s best-known tragedies in an evocative theatrical dialogue with the poetry of Emily Dickinson. We’re also producing a brand-new Macbeth for middle-school audiences, plus bringing back Miranda Middleton’s acclaimed production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. And to top it off, we are delighted to present the world premiere of Prometheus, by Damien Ryan.

Our detailed analysis of curriculum texts continues in 2027 with our Performance Symposia Series, featuring Julius Caesar + The Prince, Henry IV Part 1, Othello, The Tempest, King Lear and The Crucible.

And, of course, our Shakespeare Carnival returns for its 11th year.

Our goal is to empower teachers and students to approach theatre and Shakespeare with confidence and clarity. The emphasis remains on text, ideas, theatricality and the transformative experience of seeing the work performed live; work that emerges from rehearsal, from disagreement and multiplicity of meaning, from experimentation and discovery, always in service of the text above all else.
