Bernadette is a founding member of Sport for Jove, working as an actor and education artist. She is also the Wardrobe Manager and has a lifelong love of costumes. Romeo & Juliet is her first full costume design and her relationship with the play stretches over 20 years having worked on a range of productions. She specialised in costume design and making at Theatre Nepean while studying acting. Recent acting credits: Queen Elizabeth in Rose Riot, Cyrano de Bergerac and the 2018/2019 Education season. She has also performed in Macbeth, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet and As You Like It (for SFJ). Selected theatre credits include Her Holiness (Bakehouse Theatre), Ophelia in Hamlet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Mother Courage and A Lie of the Mind (New Theatre), Desdemona in Othello, Viola in Twelfth Night and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet (Quasimodo Theatre Co.) Film credits include Blessed Mary (Bearcage Productions). Bernadette is a 1995 graduate of Theatre Nepean UWS.
