Wendy Strehlow | Biography

Since graduating from NIDA, Wendy gained the role of ‘Sister Judy Loveday’ in  A Country Practice, for which she also won a Logie Award for Best Supporting Actress. Wendy has  extensive  television credits, including McLeod’s Daughters, All Saints, Blue Heelers, Halifax f.p., The Saddle Club and Home and Away. Her l screen credits include Dalkeith, Dead End, Act of Necessity and Hoodwink.

Theatre Companies,Sport for Jove Cyrano de Bergerac, Love's Labour's Lost, The Importance of Being Earnest, The Crucible and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Sydney Theatre Company’s production of Machinal and Travesties,Clyborne Park for the Ensemble, Bell Shakespeare’s Henry IV and Taming of the Shrew, B Sharp’s Bang,  Ensemble Theatre’s Broken Glass and The Norman Conquests, Darlinghurst Theatre Company Hysteria. Wendy’s  performance with Tamarama Rock Surfer’s I Want to Sleep With Tom Stoppard garnered nominations for a Sydney Theatre Award and a Glug Award."
