Rebecca Montalti | Biography

Rebecca was born in England and grew up on the south coast of Sydney, developing her down to earth nature surrounded by the bush and ocean. She has recently played the lead role of ‘India’ in independent feature film, 'Ambrosia' directed and written by Rhiannon Bannenberg. Ambrosia then went on to win several awards at international film festivals. Rebeccas most recent role was in the coming of age teen surf movie, 'Riptide'. Inspired by an impromptu course at NIDA, Rebecca then went on to study acting full time at Actors Centre Australia which only enhanced her appreciation of working in an ensemble, telling stories and creating her own work. With her curiosity and love of travel, she has always had an appreciation and love for humans from all walks of life and a forever-increasing desire to share their stories past and present with a variety of audiences.
