Paul Reichstein | Biography

Paul is a graduate of the Flinders University Drama Centre and is thrilled to be performing with Sport for Jove for the first time in Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. For Bell Shakespeare he has worked as an actor and director for The Players and has appeared in Romeo and Juliet, Actors at Work, Macbeth, Hamlet and Pericles. Other theatre credits include Brideshead Revisited, for Adelaide’s Independent Theatre, All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 which he directed for Promise Adelaide; Empire for Theatre in Decay; Terrorism for Theatre at Risk; Falling Petals for Playbox; Dealer’s Choice for the State Theatre SA; The Sign of the Seahorse for Windmill, The Ecstatic Bible for Brink Productions and Edward II for Tangent Productions Paul works as an Arts Educator for Bell Shakespeare and teachers as secondary Drama and English. In 2014 he was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to explore the teaching of Shakespeare in American prisons with Shakespeare Behind Bars. His screen credits include Blue Heelers, City Homicide and McLeod’s Daughters and the films Disappearance and Awoken.
