Nicholas Papademetriou | Biography


Nicholas Papademetriou graduated from WAAPA in 1984 and since then has worked extensively in the arts industry.  Film includes MI-2, Death in Brunswick, Redfern Beach, The Night We Called it a Day, Two Nights and Past Midnight. Television includes guest roles in Grass Roots, Home and Away, Cyclone Tracy, My Place, All Saints, Tricky Business and the lead in ABC's Stringer. His main body of work is in the theatre and he has worked for most companies in Australia including Sydney Theatre Company, The Ensemble,  Melbourne Theatre Company, State Theatre Co. of South Australia, La Boite Brisbane, Doppio Teatro,  Belvoir Company B and Black Swan Theatre Company.  He has also worked as an actor in Athens, New York, London and Edinburgh. After Othello he will start rehearsing in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead for Sydney Theatre Company.
