Lara Schwerdt | Biography

Lara is a 2011 WAAPA Acting graduate. During her time at WAAPA she performed lead roles in Ruben Guthrie and The Kid. Lara was awarded a scholarship to attend summer school at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique in Paris.

Lara's professional credits include: Film: Joe Cinque's Consolation. Television: Home & Away, The Hamster Wheel, and Precinct 13. Theatre: Laughter on the 23rd Floor (BSSTC) and Anthony & Cleopatra. At the 2015 Adelaide Fringe Lara co-wrote, produced, directed, and performed in the sell out production of I Liked You Better Online at The Bakehouse Theatre. Love's Labour's Lost is Lara's debut for Sport for Jove. Lara has been a proud equity member since 2011.
