Graduated from NIDA in 1971 in the Acting course. Has worked as an actor, director, teacher. Taught extensively for the old and esteemed NIDA training course - 27 years, on and off - and at the American Conservatory Theatre (ACT) - 21 years, on and off - in San Francisco. Has taught elsewhere in Sydney, as well. A member of the Old Tote Theatre, in the opening season at the Sydney Opera House (1973). Was a founding member of the Q Theatre in Penrith (1977). Recent productions: CONVERSATIONS and ALL I HAVE TO DO IS DREAM, developed with people with a disability for Performance Macarthur, at the Campbelltown Arts Centre; SAINT JOAN, for the Genesian Theatre ( a thank you for my formative years spent, joyfully, there); and LOBBY HERO, by Kenneth Lonergan, at the Tap Gallery. Teaching at the International Screen Academy (ISA), Waterloo, and at THE HUB, Chippendale - a space for the continuation of practice for professional actors.
