Joshua McElroy | Biography

Josh is an emerging young actor who began his working life with Sydney based bAKEHOUSE Theatre Company. Credits with bAKEHOUSE include Visiting Hours (VIVID, 2016), Two Chairs (2013), A Land Beyond the River (2012) and The Life of Galileo (2009). In 2015 he premiered the role of Mike in the national tour of Connected, a new musical by Craig Christie. In 2016 he played Moritz in the Australian Theatre for Young People’s sold out season of Spring Awakening, directed by Mitchell Butel. He also appeared in the sold out season of Low Level Panic, directed by Justin Martin at the Old Fitzroy Hotel. 2017 has already seen him as Gary in Tooth And Sinew’s production of Osama The Hero at Kings Cross Theatre and most recently he performed in Oedipus Doesn’t Live Here Anymore at A.T.Y.P directed by Fraser Corfield. He worked with Kim earlier in the year as Scott in Blackrock and is thrilled to be working with her again.
