Amy Mathews | Biography



Amy graduated from Actors Centre Australia in 2000. Since then she has appeared in television productions including Crownies, Rescue Special Ops, Packed to the Rafters, Home and Away, All Saints, Blue Heelers (live to air ep), Skool Sux, Love Bytes, Jeopardy, Always Greener and Head Start. Theatre credits include Dangerous Lenses for The Impending Room, Orange Flower Water for Stella Green Productions, Chicom for Brand Spanking New, Push Up 1-3 for Cipher Productions, The Lady’s Not For Touching for Sydney Writer’s Festival, Tracked for Prompt Theatre Co., Cigarettes and Chocolate for See-Saw Theatre Co. and Actors At Work for Bell Shakespeare. Film credits include Gabriel for Redline Films. In 2007 Amy won the Logie Award for Most Popular New Female Talent for her role as Dr. Rachel Armstrong on Home and Away. For Sport for Jove she has appeared in Macbeth, Taming of the Shrew, Comedy of Errors and Tempest.
